AS A FRESHMEN (2025)
Appeared in seven matches for the Sharks during the 2025 season, competing in 12 sets… totaled 21.5 points and 19 kills, averaging 1.79 points/set and 1.58 kills/set… hit .262 on 42 total attacks while adding five block assists… recorded a breakout performance against Edward Waters on September 20, posting a season-high 10 kills, 11 points, and two total blocks on an efficient .750 hitting percentage… tallied multiple kills in five matches, including four kills on seven swings at Barry on September 26.

PRIOR TO NSU
A three-time state champion in Ohio at Lake Catholic High School, Bergant dominated throughout high school career. Bergant was a three-time All-Ohio second-team representative, while also earning the Lake Catholic Offensive Player of the Year award in three straight seasons. Bergant was named to the Crown Conference first-team from 2021 through 2023.  

In 2024, Bergant was named to the North Coast Conference Player of the Year, earned all-district first-team honors and was a national finalist at the USAV National Tournament, while garnering all-tournament team honors.

PERSONAL
Natalya’s most memorable athletic achievement came during her 17s year, when she helped lead her team to a second-place finish at Nationals... Off the court, she is passionate about giving back, having volunteered at the Lake Catholic blood drive... She says what she appreciates most about her time at NSU are the strong friendships she’s built, which have made her journey both meaningful and unforgettable... She named her father as the most influential person in her life.
